Timothy Grae grew up in Harlem, NY and has always had a passion for health and wellness. From his time as a musician, to partnering with Healing Hands mobile spa, to becoming a Spa Manager at Equinox, his underlying interests in the fitness community always came forward.


He pursued further education and graduated from the renown Swedish Institute of Manhattan with a degree in Occupational Therapy and a focus in Eastern Medicine. He is licensed as a Master Massage Therapist and Healthcare Provider. Upon receiving his CPT (certified personal trainer), Grae realised that massage therapy and exercise would make for a healthy body and mind. 


In 2014, he founded Grae Therapy, where his collective passions of music, knowledge, and healing, come together right in the heart of the City.

In practice for over 6 years, Dr.India Maxwell-Barkley received her Doctorate of Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. She is a practicing Acupuncturist licensed in NYS, Reiki Practitioner and Master Teacher, professor of Acupuncture, Oriental Sciences & Physical Arts at New York College of Health Professions for the Graduate School of Oriental Medicine and a highly skilled and intuitive practitioner of the healing arts. In the heart of Manhattan, New York (Bryant Park & Flat Iron), Dr. India practices Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and provides integrative medicine to all of her patients. 

She has worked with many patients and has successfully treated a variety of ailments, ranging from physical imbalances to more emotional and psychosomatic ailments such as anxiety and depression. She is particularly dedicated to improving the lives of women by helping them achieve greater awareness of their own healing potential, as well as creating a more nurturing lifestyle. In doing so, her philosophy is intended to educate her patients on a variety of alternative healing practices. These practices can be brought into the home and provide self-empowerment and additional support through the various healing modalities she employs.



Licensed Chiropractor

In practice since 2019, Dr. Haroun earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology at University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Prior to this he graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology.

Before pursuing his Doctorate, he competed internationally as a member of the Afghanistan National Basketball Team and chiropractic care is what helped him recover from injury allowing him to get buckets in foreign lands.


Unique life experiences, exposure to many cultures growing up, and a calm demeanor enabled him to provide a comfortable environment to people from various backgrounds. He provides comprehensive care with compassion to anyone walking through his doors. Dr. Haroun believes treating through a holistic lens while being mindful of any physical/emotional trauma, educating patients about their musculoskeletal ailments and the steps it takes to heal is vital. Along with excellent chiropractic care, he promotes the importance of preventative and maintenance care with simple lifestyle changes and therapeutic/corrective exercise. Using various effective methods to treat the community including diversified chiropractic adjustments, neuromuscular re-education, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, various manual therapy techniques, and he also enjoys keeping up with advancements in the field. He has much experience treating neck pain, headaches/migraines, mid back pain, low back pain, sacroiliac/pelvis pain, pinched nerve, postural issues, muscle spasms, shoulder pain, hip pain, ankle sprain/pain, and other musculoskeletal ailments.
